Yoga Breakfast
After a late night dancing until dawn at the Mustique summer party some members of the Mustique community decided to salute the sun in a slightly different way. Dr Michael prescribed a healthy dose of yoga and a delicious breakfast down at Lagoon beach to cure the hungover.
MUSTIQUE 50th
After dinner Fireworks over Basil's Bar. Quite spectacular and just what we needed to get us up from the dinner table and back down to the bar for a rare treat indeed.
GALA GREENS
16 days to the 50th Celebration of Mustique and I'm 'Farm Girl Thursday' again. This means taking the early morning flight off-island to St. Vincent (6 minutes), and a ten minute drive up into the hills to 'Spring Valley Farm' - Paradise on Earth! We have important work today as we are supplying the Arugula for the Gala Dinner.
Philippe Starck
What an exciting moment to be present as Philippe Starck puts in the finishing touches. The island is so quiet that only a handful of us were lucky enough to be around to pop a bottle of champagne and drink to the unofficial launch, or perhaps better described as the sneak-peak to the new Basil's Bar. (The official Launch will be at the big 50th celebration of Mustique this summer)
NEW STYLES
We started work on a new jumpsuit design which pretty quickly turned into pallazo pants and and a racer-back top! We'll produce it in our new Lotty B silk prints and when worn together will give a jumpsuit effect
TURTLE TIME
What a special day! Walking the windward coast of the island we came across an enormous leatherback turtle, Polly Angela, laying her eggs.
Mustique in Bloom
Mustique in Bloom! The island has been a riot of flowers this month but as the trade winds begin to blow in I noticed them thinning out and thought I'd better catch a few of the November flowers...
