Today the Beach Cafe opened again after the summer's break and I was very please to see the napkins I designed in use. Finally they have made it to the table!

I started this project more than a year ago with a Cotton House 'Toile de Jouy' in mind, so my first job was to sketch a few key Cotton House scenes before putting them together into a repeat print.

Look carefully below and you'll see five scenes from around the Cotton House Hotel on Mustique: The Great Room, Spa and Gym, Beach Cafe, Sugar Mill, and fountain in the turning circle.

And here they are on the table!

We had them printed on 100% cotton in England. Emilie, the Cotton House manager, chose the colours; turquoise and orange on a white background. So far we only have enough for the beach cafe but we hope to make them available in the shop soon!
