Right from the very beginning when Michael and Lotty travelled to Mustique with a tiny baby, looking forward to a year in the Caribbean. The Lotty B label began at this point with Lotty hand painting sarongs to sell at local craft fairs which quickly turned into a mail order business with US customers asking Lotty to make these beautiful sarongs into kaftans!
The wide-ranging interview brings us right up to the present day, 30 years later, where Lotty is still as busy as ever - introducing new lines and prints to her fast growing "Design by Lotty B" furnishing fabrics, wallpapers and fine bone china collections.
