Here at the Pink House Mustique, the whole team continually works hard to improve all areas of our business, paying particular attention to our sustainability goals.
You may have read something about our endeavours before, but this is the first of a new series of posts aiming to update you with our achievements to date and the new goals we are setting ourselves.
Firstly, we are very excited that our new Limited Edition Lotty B silk pyjamas are in production - and within an hour's drive of our UK HQ!
After the long process of drawing the original pattern and then having that made into a sample for PR, Lotty subsequently developed the pattern until it was perfected and then found a small atelier based in Somerset who are specialists in working with silk. Alla Sellick and her team at Artisan Seams Atelier kindly allowed us to take some photos and short films of their work in progress during a recent visit.
Here is one of the lovely team inserting the labels we are so excited about:
The silk was printed in Worcestershire, the labels were produced in Pembrokeshire and then hand-embroidered in Wiltshire - this really is a Made in the UK production!
This is the utterly sumptuous silk twill featuring the new Pomegranate print from Lotty B in a rich navy and old gold colourway:
The labels have been hand embroidered to show which number of the limited edition each pair is:
Here is the second print - the fun Beetle print in fabulous fuchsia:
We very much look forward to the release of these Lotty B Limited Edition pieces made in England!
We will be bringing you news of other exciting developments very soon.
