New print launch: LURCHER!
The latest Pink House Mustique linen and swim collection is live on the website today.
We wanted to share with you how Lotty devised this print: long dogs have inspired many artists and Lotty had a vision of a tall, long-legged, elegant creature being screen printed on to fabric. The original outline was based on Sir Edwin Landseer's portrait of Prince Albert's dog "Eos" but then developed by Lotty - giving it character, adding flowers and creating a captivating repeat print..
Luca, top (below) was not Lotty's original muse, but she loved the photographs of him and said this was exactly the sort of dog she had in mind - and for Luca's part...he loves his smart silk "lurcher" print collar!
