Description

The inspiration behind this intricate print is the sand dollars that live in temperate and tropical waters, just below the tide lines. Their exoskeletons are smooth and often used as decorations due to their pretty, petal like markings.

Lotty hand painted a silk sarong with an oversized representation of a sand dollar and then worked on this much smaller sized repeat print which works so beautifully on this silk crepe-de-chine poncho.

Effortlessly luxurious with a soft shimmer finish, silk crepe-de-chine is the perfect choice for warm weather daytime or evening styles and occasionwear. The wrinkle resistant weave has a unique, slightly rippled texture and a beautiful fluid drape that retains it's shape well.

We recommend:

  • Gently hand wash using a mild detergent solution in lukewarm or cold water.
  • Dry naturally, out of direct sunlight.
  • Low steam or iron if needed.
  • Do not soak, wring, bleach or tumble dry.
