Taste of summer!
At last we have some sunshine here in the UK! To celebrate we are planning cocktails this evening and have been inspired by one of the Basil's Bar favourites: Cucumber and Ginger Mojito…
Little wins
We have heard of some fabulous ones recently, for example the "Ta-da" List loosely based on the To Do List - but actually it is the list you write at the end of the day to celebrate what you have achieved. Genius. So we wanted to tell you about one of our "little wins" as accredited to us by a customer recently: Looking forward to her upcoming holiday, she was very happy to take receipt of her new Bed-to-Beach combo of robe, shorts and top. In the product description is says that we are thinking about your holiday packing and our customer agrees wholeheartedly - together with a couple of sarongs, plus a pair of palazzo pants in the same print, she reckons she is sorted for a week by the beach! She described this as her "little win"
Yoga or Pilates?
This is a topic often talked about in our UK HQ. Regardless of age, it seems that we have all practiced one or both in the last two years, with some of our number making a class or two a week a staple in their diary.
Tresco Island
We have been collaborating with the Tresco estate for some years now as our island style is perfect for their aesthetic. Lotty has recently designed a print with Tresco which will be available later this year.
St George's Day
If you are having friends over for an outdoor gathering to celebrate St George's Day, why not surprise them with this easy pud which looks surprisingly effective and will bring a smile to the faces of your guests.

Black Velvet
This St Patrick's Day, celebrate with a Black Velvet cocktail. Despite widespread belief in it's Irish heritage, it was in fact devised by a London barman to mourn the death of Prince Albert in 1861.
