With lockdown in force around the world, our scheduled photoshoot abroad was cancelled but Mustique's unique position enabled the show to go on, right here on-Island!

It was a miracle in itself that we had samples to photograph at all. Thanks to the drive and determination of Lucy, back at the UK office, and the hard work from our long standing and loyal suppliers in China, and now, our new found 'best friends' in the UK, who picked up the pieces when China went into lockdown. We managed to source fabric, print, and then make the samples, all in a matter of a few weeks before Lockdown took force in the UK as well.

A HUGE 'THANK YOU' to you ALL!

For the shoots themselves, we are a little short on the credits list!... but when Needs Must ... and all that:

Models: island visitors and residents

Hair and make-up: model

Dresser: model

Stylist: Model and Lotty B

Location scout: Model and LottyB

Photographer: Lotty B

Wardrobe: Lotty B

Lighting: Nature

A couple of exotic locations for our wardrobe set-up:

At first we weren't sure if Mustique would have to lock-down like the rest of the world, and we managed a few shoots without worrying about social distancing, but it soon became apparent that even on Mustique we couldn't avoid it, so I would go ahead of the model and set up wardrobe and then shout instructions from across the long lens.  It was of course all very low key and happy-go-lucky but we are thrilled with the results.  Mustique Nature played a huge part of course in that the deserted island gave us the perfect locations, and the island sun gave the perfect lighting.

A big thank you to all the wonderful models who so gamely took part, not least the ever amenable Dr. B and Coco.

I'd love to post many more pictures right now, but since we were mostly shooting the 2021 collection, I thought I'd better keep them a surprise.  However, for the sneak peek, I have purposefully picked out a few distant shots, or used black and whites to camouflage the full detail.
